As with any family business or other financial endeavor, I believe fiscal responsibility is a major requirement for success. Our State Legislature can operate by that same principle if we stop letting lobbyists write laws that include tax breaks for their corporate hierarchy.
Small Business First
It's time that the benefits meant for hard-working small business owners go back where they belong. Requiring big corporations to pay their fair share of taxes will work towards creating a balanced budget. There is so much room for improvement, we can do more for the people living in Minnesota, we have a huge budget surplus left on the table because of partisan voting. I know we can do better!
